The Relay Final Event

5th and 6th June 2010

The culmination of Relay for Life will take place in June,

in Taman Perbandaran ( Penang Youth Park )

It last for 16 hours,

frm around 6.00pm on Saturday evening to 10.00am on Sunday morning.

Teams "relay" round the track throughout this time

( team members can take it in turns )

to symbolise the on-going fight against cancer.

There are special ceremonies during this time,

and of course an official opening and closing.

and the whole event is conducted in a carnival-like atmosphere,

with games, entertainment, food, spot prizes,

and an assortment of other activities to keep participants and their family happy.
